This time, Teddington's wildest family have decided to stay at home and keep their heads down - it isn't always easy hiding tails and fur under clothes, and it's important not to raise suspicion amongst their human neighbours. David Roberts is an award-winning illustrator. After graduating, he worked as a milliner and a fashion illustrator, but always felt his true calling was in childrens books. He has collaborated with some of Britains finest childrens authors, including Julia Donaldson, Sally Gardner, Philip Ardagh and Jacqueline Wilson. He is also the creator of the popularDirty Bertie books. He lives in London with his husband. He has been twice-shortlisted for theKate Greenaway Medal, and in 2006 he won theNestlé Childrens Book Prize Gold Award.
