This book contains in four chapters. Chapter one devoted to highlight of process and forms and characteristic, trends, destination of labour migrants from Nepal to foreign countries. It also deals concepts of labour migration from Nepal to India. It includes only foreign countries except India (open border) because all rules and regulations are for foreign countries. Chapter two critically discusses foreign employment policies in different plans and act in Nepal and it further goes to reviewing the causes and consequences foreign labour migration. Third chapter covers the volume and trends of migrant workers from Nepal and Siraha district (Nepal) and the last chapter four explores the concept of process of foreign labour migration; (a) going migrants in home country (b) onsite in destination country and (c) reintegration in home countery. It focuses on characteristics of sample labour migrants from Siraha district to foreign countries, process of going, marriage prior to migration, responses of labour migrants wife, migration expenses (cost of migration), loan and loan interest for the process.

Dr. Keshav Kumar Yadav is an Associate Professor in Population Education, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He earned M.A. in Population Studies from T.U. and Ph.D. from TMB University, India. Besides his articles in Academic Journals. He has published a book entitled Variation of Population Characteristeristics of Siraha District (Nepal) in 2018.
