This book suggests that the Ashkenazi Levite FOUNDER location was in the town of Jerusalem, the capital of the biblical Kingdom of Judea, and that the Levite FOUNDER was a member of the Levite caste who served in the First Jerusalem Temple. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is part of the largest Levite sub-cluster, R1a-Y2630. His line is 8 STR mutations away from the Levite PROGENITOR MODAL, at Y111 STRs, displaying high 93% proximity.
